Lab Coat Dispensing Program

Because of low usage by faculty and students, the CINTAS Lab Coat program at UCF will be discontinued.

Dispensing units for lab coats will remain open until April 21. Lab coats may be brought back to the returning units on campus through May 11. Individuals will be charged $30 per lab coat that is not returned.

Departments are responsible for planning and budgeting for PPE purchases, maintenance, and laundry services. Principal investigators are responsible for ensuring appropriate PPE is available and in use for all who work in their labs.

Departments that wish to continue working with CINTAS may contact the company directly (Robert Ackerman at AckermanR@cintas.com) to set up accounts for their areas, or they may choose to work with another vendor.

Please ensure that the proper procedures are followed and that lab coat laundry services meet the required hygiene and safety standards.
