The Scientific Diving Course (BSC 4473C/5937) is a 4 unit split level course taught each spring term. The course provides an introduction to scientific diving and is designed to satisfy the 100 hours of required training for scientific divers as prescribed by the American Academy of Underwater Sciences (AAUS).

Course prerequisites:
Nationally recognized open water diving certification
and
C or better in BSC 2010C or BSC1005 or EVR1001
