Available Courses

EHS001 Comprehensive Safety (classroom)
(Initial safety training) This course covers a variety of workplace safety topics including, personal protective equipment (PPE), ladder safety, Hazard Communication, asbestos awareness, hearing protection, ergonomics, and heat stress. Note: Required every 2 years

EHS109 Bloodborne Pathogens (classroom)
Safety topics for individuals that may come into contact with human blood or other potentially infectious materials during the course of their work. Required Annually

EHS602 Aerial Lift Safety Practical (classroom)
Safety procedures for individuals that operate aerial lifts.

EHS604 Confined Space Awareness (classroom)
Safety procedures for permit-required confined spaces.

EHS605 Confined Space Entry (classroom)
Safety procedures for individuals that enter permit-required confined spaces. Prerequisite: EHS604

EHS695 Forklift Safety Practical (classroom)
Safety procedures for individuals that operate forklifts.

EHS608 Hearing Conservation (classroom)
Safety procedures for individuals that work in environments where noise levels are at or above the exposure limit of 85dB.

EHS606 Electrical Safety (classroom)
Safety procedures for individuals working on equipment with electrical components.

EHS609 Lock Out Tag Out (classroom)
Safety procedures for individuals that work on isolating systems to conduct maintenance or repair work.

EHS620 Electrical Safety AND Lock Out Tag Out (classroom)
A combined class for EHS606 and EHS609.

EHS611 Ergonomics (classroom)
Information about ergonomics, its benefits, and the ergonomics related concerns in the workplace.

EHS613 Fall Protection (classroom)
Safety procedures for an individual that work at heights above 4 feet.

EHS617 Respiratory Training (online)
Equipment maintenance procedures for an individual that works with respirators. Medical Evaluation and Fit Test Required.

EHS690 Mechanical Room Safety at UCF (online)
Regulations and safety procedures for individuals that may access electrical and mechanical rooms.

OSHA 10-Hour For Supervisors (classroom)
Safety and health hazards procedures for supervisors and superintendents. An OSHA 10-hour course completion card is given at the end of the training.
